Dear Sir/Madam,

We are aware that a fake/spam email containing a fraudulent link to a phantom invoice has been circulated from a WHC email account. The English-language email, including the phantom invoice link, with the subject: "Factuur #20 – statement _13.03.2025" was sent on March 13, 2025, around 14:00 CET to several contacts within an isolated address database of one of our employees.

We kindly ask you to:

• Not click on the link within the email "Factuur #20 – statement _13.03.2025", and/or provide/share any information in response to this fake email.
• Completely delete the fake/spam email containing the phantom invoice link.

Our IT specialist is conducting a thorough investigation into our WHC email systems and the affected address database. The email account from which the fraudulent email appears to have been sent has been temporarily deactivated as a precautionary measure.

This incident is completely unrelated to any medical records, which remain securely stored on separate platforms. As an additional precaution, we have temporarily isolated the server storing medical records from our central network, ensuring even greater data security.

We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion. WHC is treating this incident with the highest priority and is working to resolve it as soon as possible.
